Tom Lee graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music. His classical foundation draws on studies with distinguished mentors including Mr. Wang Liang (Second Associate Concertmaster, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra), Mr. Joe Kwok (Music Director, Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra), Mr. Ray Tsoi (The conductor of the Junior Strings, Intermediate Strings, and Orchestra at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts), and Mr. Gary Ngan (Associate Concertmaster, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong).
Mr. Lee is active in professional orchestras and has been a member of the HKBU Symphony Orchestra and the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, performing in many major concerts. Beyond classical music, he has collaborated with leading pop artists—including the "Miss You Much Leslie" concert and George Lam's "Symphony Lover's Dream"—bringing together classical training and crossover stage experience.
In education, he has over twelve years of experience and is a member of the council of the Hong Kong Gifted Education Teachers' Association. He has studied psychology and was a mentor on HKBU's JC Project MuSE. His students have gone on to schools including La Salle College, Diocesan Girls' School, Diocesan Boys' School, St. Paul's College, Pui Ching Primary School, and Heep Yunn School. His teaching covers early childhood, adults, ABRSM / Trinity grades, and diploma-level programmes.

Absolutely. Our students range from age 4 to 50. For adult learners, we move beyond dry, traditional one-size-fits-all drills—combining interest-led learning with solid technique—so you can quickly enjoy playing popular or classical pieces.
Of course. We offer a wide range of paths—from Mozart to modern chart hits. Once you have a solid violin technique, any style can become part of your performance repertoire.
Lessons are held at the studio: 25 Tong Mi Road, Spark City, Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Home visits are not currently offered.
Yes. Repertoire, scales, sight-reading, and performance practice can be aligned with major exam boards and school or festival requirements when that is your objective.
Policies are shared at enrolment. As a rule, reasonable advance notice is required to reschedule studio time so that other students can use the slot.
